Chris Berkner, our founder, understands the power of the right team. As a former venture capitalist and start-up CEO, he experienced firsthand the challenges of finding exceptional talent in a rapidly evolving market. Traditional search firms often fell short, leaving him to navigate the complex hiring process on his own.

This fueled Chris’s determination to create a better hiring solution for climate tech startups. He envisioned a search firm that acted as a true partner, understanding the unique needs of each client and the nuanced qualifications required for every role. In 2013, Berkner Group was born.
